This year Pitti Fragranze, one of the most renowned festival of latest trends in perfumery art will take place in Florence between 8-10th of September. I am honoured to be invited as new luxury perfumer, fragrance journalist and blogger.
I am especially happy to meet friends and top professionals in the industry and of course I am very keen to take part to the MANE workshop on spices in perfumery, a topic I am very passionate and keen on.
Spices contain mystic power and great allure, a reference to their exotic places of origin. For this reason Raw – the Pitti Fragranze format that, at each edition, offers a space to the most important raw materials in perfume – has decided to turn the spotlight on exotic spices, the essence of which is at the center of many perfumery creations.
A special talk/presentation “SPICES IN PERFUMERY” will be curated by MANE. An enthralling itinerary which, starting from the origins and history of spices, will lead us to discover the extraordinary olfactory wealth of these raw materials.
The presentation will be curated by Micaela Giamberti (director of the Fragrance division of Mane Italia) alongside a team of experts from Mane: Véronique Nyberg (Vice President Creation Fine Fragrance EMEA), Luc Carrière (Environment Manager – Sustainable Development Coordinator) and Cyril Gallardo (Director Ingredients EMEA).
